2,300 miles of Thanks
What a privilege it was for Linda and me to visit long time ministry partners in Southern and Northern California, putting in 2,300 miles in 12 days. We
were welcomed with open arms and gracious hospitality in each home. These dear friends and family have partnered with us through prayer, encouragement and financial
support for many years, making it possible for Living Foundation Ministries to leave a footprint of biblical discipleship on five continents.

Top: Nancy Stansfield and Linda were roommates at Whittier College. She served as a missionary with Wycliffe and then taught school in California until she retired. Nancy continues to
be a faithful prayer partner and supporter.
Bottom: Ken and Quita Bemis, leaders of Practical Missionary Training, were our mentors 49 years ago in preparing us for mission work. The motto they taught us, "It's just the way we like it",
reminds us that irritations and difficulties are opportunities to build Christ-like character.

|
Top: Ron and Kathy Binder, Biola College friends of Chuck's (who we double dated with), are Wycliffe Bible translators and life-long examples to us of perseverance and
prayer.
Bottom: George and Donna Warren, missionaries in Venezuela for 30 years, shared helpful cultural insights for our first trip to Venezuela 15 years ago. Donna and Linda became friends at Whittier
College.

FROM TOP DOWN...
1): Nikki Cline, a member of our college and career group at Bethany Baptist 47 years ago, served as a missionary in South Korea and has
continued to disciple women as a business woman. She has been a faithful partner for many years.
2): Jean Holifield, a childhood friend of Chuck's, has been involved with us in ministry through the years.
3): Dave Moore, in our youth group crusades 45 years ago, volunteered as a light and sound technician and now owns a large electronic firm in
Southern California. His investment in us has made it possible to take some bold steps in missions.
4): John and Georgia Cowart have partnered with us and continue in memory of her parents, George and Linda Taylor, who served in ministry with us 43 years ago in Chicago. Their
boxer, Slash, is a new friend, too.

as a hospitality ministry.

A Gift from Grief
We took one dear friend out to lunch and learned that the 38th anniversary of her husband’s death was that day. She reached into her purse and with a smile handed us a gift and said, “Put
this toward your ministry.” No one deserves such a gift from one who has experienced such a loss.

We thank God for these special friends and wanted to share with you.
Deeply grateful,
Chuck and Linda Lynch |
